My friend Chad is in town, positively sick tenor player (not to mention being a model for Abercrombie & Fitch...ladies?). I wanted to take advantage of this rare chance and set up a gig, so dig it:

It's free, and it's going to be f*ck wild. We'll be playing everything from hard bop to funk to fusion to latin stuff.

Sometime I'll get you a recording of the last gig we did with this kid, it was astoundingggggg.

Yeah, I really would love to go, but this whole dying of bronchitis thing really isn't working for me.

Tenor is my favorite instrument, hands down. I love it do death.

It's probably better that I'm not coming though.

HEy i couldnt come last night but i was wondering if shows like this happen alot? And if they do when is th next show.

Well, every friday night I play with a trio and a ton of guests (it's an open jam session) at the Coffee Pavilion in Hanover Square (133 E. Water St., downtown.) It's free, and runs 9-midnight every week. Come on down and check it out.
