Just wanted to say Hi from CT. Tip The Van is a female fronted Ska Band They are releasing a new CD for Asbestos Records in 3 weeks. You can hear some of their other stuff at tipthevan.com the new stuff will be on soon. They are planning for warped tour again this summer. Hope to see you. Its threads like this that help keep Ska going. Rock On!!!

Tri-State Conspiracy has played with Tip The Van and recommended them highly. I've tried a few times to get them to Syracuse before, with no success. Check them out and see if you want me to try again ...

BTW, I've heard that this demo is not a good reflection of what they really sound like live, but it's what they have online right now, so oh well:

i have never seen a band list spring heeled jack as one of their influences.

I have and considering SHJ was from CT, it makes even more sense.

Until I just looked, I didn't realize how many Spring Heeled Jack members ended up in other bands. Pretty impressive.
