This has been bugging me for a long time ...

Why do I never hear of a Binghamton area ska band? Why are there so few ska shows in that area?

I was really hopeful when that venue in Johnson City (a suburb) booked Ska Is Dead 3, but then they cancelled that (and all the other shows during that time) and my optimism waned.

Are there high school ska bands in that area I've just never heard of? Are there shows I simply don't know about?

I have to believe with all the people in that area that there are ska fans ...

Nobody wants to admit to living in Binghamton

I was born in Binghamton, been back twice in the last twenty years.

Can't say I miss it much.

Wow. I never intended for this to the "let's beat up on Binghamton" thread ...
