Are the Operatives another band unrelated to Amy, Grif and Felski's crew, did they change names again, or did the promoter screw up their name? (I'm thinking the latter.)

The Know How and Whole Wheat Bread play the Icon on Jan. 28th, so I'll probably spend the weekend there with friends. (full lineup TBA)

I bet you can assume it's The Ops. Haven't talked to them lately so that show is news to me. However, The Ops has always have a very good working relationship with that particular promoter as well as The Toasters. I just may have to take a drive out to Buffalo for this show. Looks like a good one.

Woah, I will be there.

I'll prolly do that opposed to Three Floors of Ska to save some money.

I'm really thinking about going to The Know How and Whole Wheat Bread one. That'd be awesome.

Yeah, I need to save money for International Ska Circus. Not to mention it looks like I'll be spending that entire week before ISC in California.

Kick ass! I think spending a weekend in Buffalo sounds great, pending on how my sister's surgery on the 23rd goes. LTJ/Big D on the 24th, Know How/WWB the 28th, Toasters/GJG on the 29th... Good thing I don't have school that week! :D

I'm working on plans for ISC in March as well..

I'm pretty sure it's The Ops, because on the Sick Boy page it says, under bands they've worked with: "Amy Ryan & The Operatives/The Operatives."

Good news :D

Someone oughta correct the thread title to 1/29 from 12/29. It's making me go "Oh crap, I'd like to go see the Toasters, but that date sucks" every time I see the thread move up...

Holy crap!!

So I was checking the Icon's site to get the final details on TKH/WWB, and this is what I found:

Friday January 27th -
Pete Francis <-- bass player of Dispatch (I love this guy)
Scott Harris
Mobile
Doors 7pm
$10 day of show
Tickets at the door only

Yeah.. Umm.. I'll be in Buffalo from Friday of that weekend until Sunday I = guess. Friday = Pete Francis, Saturday = TKH/WWB, Sunday = The Toasters.

SCHWEET.

(Better start saving now. I am going to be so poor after that weekend.)

I'd love to go to this show but a 3 hour drive on a Sunday night just doesn't sound good.
