Someone with mod priviledges and frustrated with vague thread titles, I would guess :P

That's up to Nate to decide, honestly. Maybe "Syracuse" would be a better description. I was just trying to make it clear it's not Buffalo or Rochester, for example.

[meekly raises hand]

That would be me, sorry.

I've just been asked by numerous people to get a little more involved with the running of this forum. I'm trying to keep my interference to a bare minimum, mostly cleaning up spelling problems that confuse -- "Soul Live" to "Soulive", for example. Or here clarifying what this thread is really about, because the really generic thread titles tend to force most people to read them that wouldn't otherwise (which pisses people off mostly), while not directing them squarely at those intended (here, people willing to play bass in a band locally).

But hey, if you all find this minor tinkering annoying, I apologize and will back off. I'm just trying to be helpful.

BTW, most of you have yet to catch on that you have the ability to re-edit your own posts after you post them. Just go to your post and hit the "edit" key and you can change it all you want, as often as you want. I do it all the time when I realize after the fact I goofed. None of us will even notice, unless someone posts after your post before you edit it. Then it'll say underneath "edited on xx/xx/xx x many times", just so people realize the posts afterwards may no longer make sense anymore. Got that???

Best wishes from your cruise director. :D

Yea, I've re-edited one of mine. Astounding ability.

ANd no it's fine that you changed the name of the topic. The other one wasn't very helpful.

Oh yea, PLEASE, anyone...Trevor and I are looking for a bass player in the area who can get themselves ot practice or live fairly close.(I can drive so I can go a little out of the way to get you.)

We are also looking for a keyboard player and horn section. As of now we have a possibl trombone player. But he may not be available until next semester.
so hit it up at 657-5626(cell; with me 90% of the time)

God I SO wish I had the time to commit to a band.
