I don't know anything about his prices but he has a great voice and his band is pretty rad. I get that song king with out a crown stuck in my head all the time!

An amazingly talented guy with a compelling story and attention-grabbing angle.

I understand Steven's complaint, but once you get this big, it seems almost unavoidable. And Matisyahu is not exactly a gutter punk.

I wonder if his success will last. I think even if he doesn't remain in the spot light he will be remembered by reggae fans.

i've been a fan of this group since they came to ub a while back. a great act... funny though how my friends got turned off by him... they didn't know he was a spiritual man and got sick of his religious rantings. hey buts their opinion, im glad to se people with faith and strongly support it. more power to matisyahu. by the way, is it true hes performing on the Mtv music awards? if so good for him!

He's ok. If he's from Queens though, why does he do the fakin' Jamaican?

i think tons of white/jewish kids in queens bk grow up in hip hop and reggae environs and adopt it ala beastie boys.

while some white reggae people affect a ja accent like gentleman (from germany) and rocker T, i think matis merely adapts the vocal pattern but not the accent. i think hes so so, but since he's a novelty people rave about him. I think his beatboxing is better than his singing and his reggae band is ok. a
