The ol lady and me are moving to cuse late august.

What's new in the last 5-6 years?

Watering holes, food establishments, interesting things, etc?

I see the Theater is actually doing stuff now, that's pretty slick. How are shows there? Is there a bar?

That's great to hear ... it'll be awesome to have you back in the 'Cuse.

Hahahahaha. Where to start? Honestly, when you get back in town, hit me up and I'll give you a tour. I think you might be truly amazed what's changed in that time.

Again, where to begin? Westcott Street has gotten a lot more interesting. Downtown keeps growing in amazing ways, especially the new buildings and all the new housing down there The near Westside (the SALT District) is the hot new emerging neighborhood for artists in the area and you might find that of personal interest. If you have decent credit, you can even buy a house for $1 -- you need the credit because you have to show you can actually get it fixed up. And you'll probably be happy to know that Carousel Mall is getting more and more irrelevant.

Yes, there is a bar and almost all shows there are all ages. It's not much different than when it used as a movie theater, except they took out all the seats, added a stage and a small bar in the corner. Other than that, you'll recognize it immediately. Legally holds 700 people, so that's where all the big touring acts play now. http://thewestcotttheater.com

Actually, you'll probably be more interested in the Half Penny Pub downtown. It's the old Stag Bar, but now with a stage and PA system in the back. Always 21+ to enter, usually no cover, and mostly punk bands playing.
