Couple notes ...

Burlap Billy of course is one of the newest projects from the wacky mind of Miles Robinson (formerly The Gnarwhals, The Secret Ions).

The Amish Mafia is a relatively new Syracuse ska-rock band composed of SUNY ESF kids. One of them used to be in a little ESM band called The Verbs.

Last summer I tried to hook up The Heat Machine from Lincoln, Nebraska, but we just couldn't work it out, which is why I'm glad we could this time around. Two girl singers, they are heavily ripping off the Dance Hall Crashers sound, but given the current obsession with so many bands trying to sound like Streetlight, I find this a welcome relief. I especially recommend you check out their song, "10 Things I Hate About Your Boyfriend".

And of course, Skip Town Matty and The Closers are both high-energy bands, so this should be a fun show overall.

Can't wait to hear the Amish Mafia. That name has just got me real damn curious. I might have a whole bunch of family coming to this too. My dad used to hang out with the Amish a lot but I don't think he ever got into their mafia. He's also not coming.

But yeah, its gonna rawwwwwwwwwk. :nemo:
