Thanks to Dave Hillyard and the Slackers for letting us do this. Please enjoy and share, but never sell this at request of the band. And buy their new album DAMMIT. :king:

Hey, thanks so much for putting this together and posting it. My band had a reunion to open the show...we're huge fans of the Slackers...and this is amazing to have for many reasons, not the least of which is nostalgia.

Hey Jeff, sorry to have missed your reunion show. People still talk about your one and only show in Syracuse opening for Big D. Definitely a very memorable set. :king:

f*ck, i heard that too. I thought it was maybe in the album version as well, and I didn't notice until then. But yeah, I heard that and immediately thought they were talking about Bucket. I forgot to post my speculation.

I honestly don't have any idea. I seem to recall hearing a few years about a vague tension between them, possibly related to the Slackers leaving Moon Ska... like that was either a cause or an effect of a problem between them. I don't know anything specific at all, though, and I don't even remember where I got the idea.

Basically, the Slackers felt that Moon Ska screwed them on money. That's a very old beef and I don't get why Vic is bringing it up again. Its ancient history at this point. And there is a lot of crazy stuff going on the world right now that Vic could be talking about instead.

They can't be THAT mad at Bucket, though. Bucket sings on one of the songs on the upcoming Crazy Baldhead album. Crazy Baldhead, for those who don't know, is a studio project mostly, led by Agent Jay from the Slackers, and nearly the entire Slackers lineup contributes.

Could be. Crazy Baldhead may be Agent Jay's band, but Vic's a full-time contributor, and plays on basically every song. I think that if he really disliked Buck that much, they might not be working together at all.

Maybe Vic just said it because he knew the tape was running and he knew people would talk about it haha.
