Hey everyone! I know no on has heard from Magic Goat recently, but that's because we have been crazy busy. A few months ago Anna (the singer) quit, so we have been searching for a new singer. Ari Z from F-M is taking up lead vocal duties, and we have spent the last few months practicing with her. In short, Ari is awesome. She's got a killer voice and has thrown herself headlong into writing new material. We will be debuting at least two new songs on March 30th! Speaking of which...

March 30th we are playing with the Uk's Sonic Boom Six! SB6 is one of our favorite bands and it's safe to say Magic Goat hasn't been this excited for a show in a long time.

More updates to come...

Have we met Ari at shows before?

And is the "metal" now mentioned in your MySpace band description for real or listed for humor purposes? No offense, but its hard to imagine Magic Goat doing metal ...

The metal is in their for both reasons! haha. I realize the idea of Magic Goat playing metal is absurd. However, some of our new material is going in that direction. Metal isn't the best term to describe the sound but on myspace you have to pick from a list of genres and I did not feel like trying to figure what some of the stuff on the list meant. Like: what the hell is concrete?

maybe...

Skacore and Rocksteady should be available genre choices on myspace.

Recently we launched our new website! Check it out at http://www.goatska.com and let us know what you think. The design is far simplified and will hopefully be updated frequently (assuming a band member in the United States learns html).

HEY-O!

We now have a facebook page for the band, so you now can get all your Magic Goat info from your favorite stalker-site! The WATU show later this month is on there too.
