Anyone hear the Judge Dread version of "Rudy(A Message to You)"?

I have the Ska Set (4 cds!) from Emporio and it's on here, it coulde be a typo and is the specials but I haven't listened to that song in al ong time.

P.S. Bad Manners and Pauline Black, who else thinks they're both amazing?!

There's a link to the Ska Set. Number 25 is the song I asked about.

Yeah, it's pretty good. You should check out ... well, a lot of his stuff. He's kind of hit or miss sometimes, but a lot of it's really good. I used to have a bunch of it. But people suck.

Didn't like them much when I first encountered them. I'm warming to The Selecter, but I can't get a handle on why Bad Manners doesn't move me.

I find reference to the "Two-Tone sound" weird - the major players all sound so different to me. I immediately liked the Specials, Madness and the Beat, but all for different reasons.

See, Bad Manners is by far my favorite 2Tone era band. I absolutely love their seriously fat horn arrangements, and unabashed silliness.

The Pogues best song is "Sunny Side of the Street."

Tell that to the foreigners! All I ever hear is bands covering Dirty Old Town.

Sunny Side of the Street is good. But I think my favorites are "Body of an American" and "White City." And part of a line from "Pair of Brown Eyes" is inscribed on my wedding band.

Pauline Black and The Selecter ARE amazing. Some of you have seen my Selecter hoodie I bought in Vegas that says "United We Dance" on it. An amazing live show, a great legacy and an all around classy outfit. Most critics consider them the 2nd most important 2-tone band, after The Specials and I concur.

I've never seen Bad Manners and the music has never grabbed me. They've always given me the impression they're a much stronger live act than a studio group. Brian Leigh saw Bad Manners last summer and got photographed with Buster in a very disturbing shot - Buster is trying to lick his face!

I'm much bigger on Fishbone than Bad Manners. BTW, I also recommend The Untouchables live, but never recorded. Their albums all blow chunks, which is too bad, because they're really cool dudes (anyone else seen their famous cameo in "Repo Man"!??!).

Neville Staples is amazing live too, but I doubt most of you will ever get to see him to confirm that ...
