Now that I'm spending my 2nd straight night hanging out at the Westcott, it's amazing who all I run into ...

Last night was the Know How show of course. But just as everyone was leaving, I saw someone I haven't seen in years, which was a very nice surprise.

And now tonight I'm watching over a little hardcore show on behalf of the Westcott and more randomness. First, Ronnie Miller calls me from NYC to finally confirm that STP will play Skalloween XI, which is good news. And then I run into Bill Eppel, who tells me a lot more about the upcoming Hot Stepper shows, including how Jah Eyes is now sharing the mic with Tawana, which is cool news. And of course, about the upcoming Slackers show in Utica.

I just can't wait for this hardcore show to end ...

Yeah, they just now finished their set. Good band. It's just too bad there were only 20 people watching them, counting me ...

Well I'll see them monday in a basement and I'm sure it'll be much more fun there.

Latterman is a great band. Their first record is so insanely positive.

Although my friend went to highschool with them and she says they're not as posi as they lead on! :P

Have not heard their new stuff since I have not seen them in about a year or so. Let me know how that show goes Johanna.

*SIGH* I have a feeling now that i'm going to miss skalloween up here. I'm going to go home for that weekend for skalloween in CT because ASOB is playing with High School Footbal Heroes, Tip The Van, Jay Tea, and Too Short Notice. I'm not sure if I'll get back early enough on Sunday to run to Syracuse for this...
