Lots of little kids? I thought there was a huge draw of college kids (who I guess aren't even really kids anymore) there was definitely a bunch of 13, 14, 15 year old kids but you get that at all shows. It was definitely a way older crowd than alot of the shows have been. Atleast that's what I saw.

The draw wasn't bad at all, a very nice size. Enough people so it felt empty by no means, but few enough so there was room to dance without getting in peoples way.

It didn't actually get started until almost 9:30, whether that's because of equipment problems, late bands, or some scheduling problems (it looked as though there had been something going on upstairs and the show was put on hold for them to finish.)

My ride had to be home by 11, so because of the show's late start I didn't get to watch the know how, which was very upsetting, but that's just how it goes.

I really enjoyed the benefit's set, and razbari sumthing was fun and energetic like usual, but they were missing something...hmm...I just can't quite figure out what though...

All and all, I enjoyed myself. Anyone else...?

There were over 100 kids there, though some came late and some left early. Definitely more college kids than usual for a Westcott ska show. The younger kids ran the pit in the back, while the older kids crowded the front and sides. The OCC contingent was notable for not dancing at all and for being the most obviously confused people there. The SU contingent danced, but mostly in place. I was especially happy when a couple of SU kids just wandered by ("we heard the music and were curious") and ended up not only staying, but skanking as well (even though this was their first ska show).

Poor little Heather couldn't see past the front row, so she didn't even realize until I told her later how the younger kids were dancing up a storm to them. I was especially gratified that everyone seemed to enjoy the slower songs by every group and danced just as much to those.

Great sets by all 3 bands. Apologies for the late start.

But it was a good time for everyone there and a great lead in to Skalloween XI next month.

I'm just 18 so I feel you. Most of the "little" kids really are 14-17 though.

I had an awesome time. All of the bands were great. I skanked a ton. I got a friend to skank with me as we gave eachothers highfives. I gave every band member (except a couple in the benifits) "brotha hugs." Had some fun about joking around with hardcore dancing. Got a good workout too.

And Skadanny, don't worry about the show starting out late, it happens, and the set was awesome enough so that it made up for it.

Sorry about the moshing during the Raz Sumthin set. I got a bit carried away.

Push pits are bad. No push pits ever. I hope when he says hardcore dancing he doesn't mean push pitting. Bad bad bad.

They aren't bad. Everyone I have ever been in people help each other up and are real nice...which is a little ironic for a push pit. But they are out a little out of place at the show. The hardcore danceing was more mock and it was inbetween songs when we were doing it, we wern't seirious.
