I just went to one of the most amazing shows ever.
For anyone who doesn;t know apocalyptica is 4 finnish cellos who play rock music. Anyone who is a string player especially a cello they are incredible.
They put on such an amazing show at the guvernment in toronto. I have never seen musicianship like these guys.

I haven't seen Apocalyptica, but they inspired a cello quartet at the Eastman School of Music called Break of Reality, and they do heavy metal covers. They're amazing in their own right.

I'm also fond of Noxagt, which is a Norweigan trio - bass, drums and electric viola. Must be something about those harsh Scandinavian winters
