The Hoboz are playing a show with two other bands from Avon on September 17th at the Circle Park in Avon. The line-up is:

Little Debbie and the Cosmic Brownies - The band I play bass in. We're more like rock/pop but a lot of it's just weird stuff with keyboards. You can listen to us at Myspace (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... 0907162916). Listen to "Here It Goes", it has a ska-ish organ.

Bob's Brother's Band - The keyboardist's dad is in the band. They play rock/soul covers but they're really good. They're all older so they're all really good at the instruments they play.

The Hoboz - Ska band. Get a preview of our performance a week later at The Know How show!


My two bands are hopefully bringing in the younger people and Bob's Brother's Band is hopefully going to bring in the older people, so hopefully there will be a good crowd there.

If anyone has been in Avon, they've probably seen the Circle Park. If not, just take the Avon exit of 390 (exit 10) and stay on that main street and you'll get there.

I'm pretty sure we're doing this to benefit the mess down in New Orleans, so it'd be awesome if a bunch of people came. Please come and support!

I'm actually not sure what time the whole thing starts, probably around 7 or something. I'll get back to you on that.

If it started around 4 or 5 it might have been worth it for me to go, but since it starts so late and I need to leave to get home by nine I really don't think I can go, even though I would absolutely love too.
