In case you are unaware, Audioscrobbler is a plugin you download for your favorite media player. It keeps track of what you listen to and submits to a server. It is then displayed on your profile page. You can also get nifty "recently played tracks" signatures like Danny has.

Well you can make groups, and the site will keep track of what the group listens to collectively, and will compile a list every week. The group needs at least 15 members for this to work.

I figured we could make a Syracuse Ska Group.

If interested this is what you have to do:
1. Go to http://www.last.fm
2. Click "Sign Up" in the upper right hand corner.
3. Fill out the form.
4. Download the plugin for you favorite media player.
5. Follow the instructions to get the plugin to work.
6. Go here and join.

If you already have an account, please just join the group. This could be a neat thing if we get enough people.

PS - Ska Danny, I threw the Bert & Ernie graphic in the avatar, if you mind, just let me know and I'll take it off.

mine doesnt seem to be working. any itunes version tips?

Go to visualizer and make sure iScrobbler is checked. If iScrobbler doesn't show up then you saved the plugin to the wrong area. If it's there go to turn on visualizer, then click options in the type right corner. Make sure your username and password are typed in correctly.

Also when you turn the visualizer on it'll show you wants going on, (playing/handshaking/submitting/etc.)

You can then turn the visualizer off, as it will still submit everything without that annoying screen being there.

ummm it still doesnt show up in my profile

in the visualizer it just says 0 songs queued for submission (failed to handshake with server)

nah, i had trouble with it too with the switch from AS to last.fm just keep looking. you'll find it.
