Yeah, I got an interesting voicemail from Germany about possibly booking Regatta 69 to Syracuse.

What ya'll think?

if anyone is driving down from the Ithaca/Syracuse/Cortland area for that Slackers show let me know. I love the Slackers, but I really don't want to put the mile-age on my car...that and I'm kind of poor so splitting gas and tolls would be much better...

I'd say there's a slight chance I might - if I can get enough people to come along and help me pay for gas, and can get the wife to sign off on the idea. I'd also consider staying for both shows, if I do it.

well, i'm not much interested in the other show truthfully, but I'm from Queens, so whatever you kids decided to do after the Slackers show, I could take a train back to my parents' house and then meet you guys the next day after the show or whenever you're heading back...

Figure it out, Danny, and let me know what's up. The 30th is also the date of the Dashboard show at Rochester. I already know that there's no way I can convince the parental units to let me travel to NYC for the Slackers, so I'm just gonna stick with DC and be happy with it.

ya know, right now, i don't remember where you said DC was. If that's close, maybe i'll just do that. I don't know. People need to let me know what's up. I'd rather see the slackers because they're amazing, but they're also from NYC and, yeah, so am I so they play around there pretty often. DC I can sing along and be emo for a night. Is DC full band or just Chris (aka: if it's full band, it's less likely I'll go).

It's at the University of Rochester.
I agree, I'd rather see The Slackers, but it's further away.
I love singing along to DC.
No idea if it's all of DC or just Chris, but I'd rather it was just Chris as well.

Let me know your decision.

See Dashboard in Syracuse this Saturday and save the gas ...

See my post under the Distorted Penguins thread for the details [another example of how threads wander!]
