Fri, Sep 23rd -- THE KNOW HOW (Florida ska-rockers), RAZBARI SUMTHING (Syracuse ska kings), THE BENEFITS (Syracuse University ska triumphant return) at the Westcott Community Center in Syracuse. All ages, $8 cover, show from 8-11:30pm. Kingston Beat Productions.

Sat, Sep 24th -- THE KNOW HOW (Florida ska-rockers), THE HOBOZ (Avon ska-rock debut), THE EXPIRED (Penfield punk/ska), THE LEVAR BURTONES (Fairport ska-rock) at The Club at Waterstreet in Rochester. All ages (16 and under must be accompanied by adult), $5 for 21+, $8 for under 21, doors at 5pm, music from 5:30 to 10pm. Contact Twitch at aka.twitch@gmail.com for any additional questions.

chances are i'll be at the syracuse show. i was going to go home for the SID 3 Floors of Ska show at KF, but it just seems impractical...and I'd like to catch the benefits...

Actually, I think our first kickball tourney should be before both shows. A home and away weekend. :wink:

That's actually a really good idea.

I dunno if I can go to the Roch show though. I'm seeing Against Me! the next night in Buffalo, and need to conserve some money and energy, and I definately want to see the Benefits.

hmmm im going to be in rochester the 24, so i might have to just sleep in the streets and then make my way out to buffalo from there

The alley between RG&E and the Golden Port Restaurant off East is pretty nice, although not as nice as the one I slept in last time I went to Toronto.

You could crash on the hideabed at my place after I finish up with the Know How show.

I've slept in my car, on kitchen floors, shitty hotels, and on random people's couches.

All in the name of a good show...hell, the trip is half the fun.
