So I'd always thought Tomas left Catch 22 after the release of Keasbey Nights because he wanted to go to college or something, and then Jamie and Josh left as well.

Can anybody else add to this?

And also does anybody know why after Streetlight released everything goes numb, all the original streetlight members including Jamie and Josh left with the exception of Tomas?

And in the Streetlight song, A Moment of Silence, Tomas Says, "If you hate me so much then stop singing my songs".

I originally interpreted that as his way of saying if the rest of Catch 22 holds a grudge against me for leaving, then discontinue performing the songs I wrote.

Does anybody else have any ideas?

My minds just full of questions tonight and I'm searching for some answers.

Don't be surprised if there is more than one answer or if those answers change depending on who is asking the questions.

That's normal human response ...

That's a big help. Thanks alot! There are many things I know I would love to ask Tomas as well if I were to ever sit down and have dinner with him or something. But until that day comes my curiosity has been satisfied.

Streetlight seems to elicit that kind of dedication in a lot of its fans. I really noticed that Ska Weekend when I was hanging out with a lot of the Jersey kids. And honestly, I can see why ...

So, this thread got me curious and I went and found the Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution stuff, which I think is great..I can't believe I never bothered to check it out sooner. If anyone else is interested, I managed to find it on some dude's site http://skachilles.com/music/ the botar directory is the EP and then there is a crapload of other Catch 22/Streetlight related stuff. The history of them posted earlier in the thread explains most of it. There is also a 120 meg video of a full show, although I have no clue when and where it was filmed except 2003 and I would guess it's in Jersey. Not amazing quality but I was surprised to find a whole bunch of cool stuff.
