At first glance... I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THE PIETASTERS.

Not to be a dick, but shouldn't most of the highlight be on The Pietasters?

Unless, Mrs Skanatto blew up the spot and no one gave me the memo. In which case, I'd retract my previous statement.

So, uh, since it's the day before The Pietasters do two shows with The Planet Smashers, can we expect The Smashers on the show?

Yeah, pretty much. Twitch, man, you kind of dropped it on this one.

I found out about the Pietasters two days ago. Notice the lack of specifics.

It is not the final flyer. This is what is referred to as a "teaser".

It is something I hacked out last night to pass around at the Public/Axis show.

So I kindly invite Aaron and Steve to kiss my ass.

No such luck (but if it was a package deal, it probably would not happen.)

Eh, oh well. It'll still be an amazing show.

Co-promoting the Pietasters show - the owner of Milestones knows me as "the ska guy," so he asked me to set up openers and get the word out.

I'm very happy about that, because it means I can concentrate on what I do best (flyers, band coordination, word of mouth and media contacts) while they take care of what I like least (contracts and money)

For Skannotto's CD release show, they provide the venue and staff, but that's about it.

Don't get me wrong - my head would go explodey with delight to have a Pietasters/Planet Smashers ticket in Rochester.

But the guarantee for two national bands on a Monday would be more than they (or I) would want to take on.

Well, it appeared that you were promoting it (as I've heard you talk about bringing them in in the past), so I naturally assumed you'd had time and that was your final flyer. In which case, it would've sucked. As a teaser, even, I would've expected the top band to get top billing, though.

Just confirmed - Mrs. Skannotto and the Flour City Knuckleheads will open for The Pietasters. Performance times will be fixed later this week.

The Hoboz and The LeVar BurTones are slated to open for the Skannotto release party, with one more band TBA.

Dude, are you driving a Hummer? I'm from Marcellus, I live about 3 miles down the road from Milestones now. I can get to Marcellus and back here to Roch on almost half a tank, not bad. Anyways, hope to see you at the show. Mustang represent!
