Why does there seem to be this perverse pattern of good dub bands doing all their shows on really short notice?

damn. didnt find out about this till right now. i spent the entire day movin a buddy out of his appartment, so i'm damn tired. it's too bad cause i bet i'd enjoy it. maybe i'll see you at the next reggae show whenever that is

i only stayed an hour but i really liked what i heard. 2005 was a good year for syracuse last minute no publicity cheap/free reggae shows.

alful als is awful smokey. i used to smoke a pck a day 20 years ago so i can relate to smoking, but now that i don't its so nice to see live music in smoke free bars. leaving als reeking and choking sucked . a

also i was surprised to see former hotstepper rachel on keys,. didn't know whe was in this band. a

Really!?!? Last I knew, she was going to school in Potsdam and home was still Central Square. Isn't Giant Panda Guerilla Dub based in Rochester??

And of course, their website sheds no light on this. Maybe she just fills in now and then? I see them doing several shows near Potsdam in the near future. The plot thickens ...
