More information has come to light on the upcoming Slackers full length. The band's next record, their sixth release for Hellcat Records and follow up to 2003's Close My Eyes, will be titled Peculiar and should hit stores on February 21st. Click below to check out the cover art and full track listing. Fans will notice something familiar in the listing, as 5 of the album's 13 tracks appeared on the band's EP International War Criminal, released through Thought Squad in 2004. There's no word yet if these are updated recordings or if they're the same material that comprised that release.

Epitaph Records has put the song "86 The Mayo" online to download now.

I'm a big fan of Slackness.

woah. this is mildly disappointing.

i had no clue that the International War Criminal songs were going to be on this. And then, on top of that, I know 86 The Mayo already from Vic's solo stuff.

They said all along when they released the EP that a full length incorporatiing the EP would follow. Isn't the EP primarily an import???

Get the dub album if you want something a bit newer. :)

I didn't follow them much until recently. I kind of fell in love with them when I saw them over the summer on the Rocks Off cruise thing. Like, I had all their music, but never much listened to it.

And I already have the dub album. I'd rather listen to Slackness though.

I've only heard some tracks live, which sounded good. I always recommend buying CDs at Jump Up! Records, in part because his prices are good (and always include postage & handling), the selection impressive and because Chuck Wren has heavily supported good ska for many years now and deserves our support. And yes, he has the CD for sale. :D
