oh well the free concert gravy train seems to have run out.
not sure if its because they are opening for dave matthews for a string of dates or their blue note deal or what but the ithacans are charging for their show at OHM which previously had big names for free,. hopefully they will keep having free shows and keep bringing dub/reggae acts. a

Soulive.. for the band, it's all one word. That's why I was confused at first if it was really them that you were talking about. Then I went to the site and saw that it was.

And now I kind of want to blow what little money I have to go see them..

HAH!

Nevermind. I just realized that my cousin and I have tickets to the Dave Matthews/Soulive show in Rochester on the 7th. Of course, I didn't realize until just NOW that Soulive will be opening.

Holy hell!! This show is gonna be awesome!!

Joy.

I briefly saw them on the news and they sounded great then so i cautiously downloaded a song... however the recording sounded a little too much like how I imagined they would sound before I ever heard them on the news. It was a little too "fresh" for me.
