Hey this is Mike from The Steakouts! I've been meaning to put something up here for a while about us, but wanted to wait a bit before we had developed a little bit more. The Steakouts had a very busy summer; producing our first EP "The Big Misteak", our first tour around the north east (syracuse having been one of those dates), and having played with such awesome bands as The Toasters, Survay Says, Brunt of It, and our good friends 4 Point 0.

This fall the band is still going strong, already set to play with The Slackers and Deal's Gone Bad October 18th at Mohawk Place in Buffalo. We are also set to play with Mustard Plug and Flatfoot 56 November 12th, again at Mohawk Place. Hey folks! Its been a while since I posted on here so I thought I'd letcha know what The Steakouts are up to!

We are currently in the studio recording our second EP "Gather round for some culture" set to be released this spring. The Steakouts will also be opening for Authority Zero and the Voodoo Glow Skulls February 8th at Mohawk Place in Buffalo. Tickets are $20 at the door, though we have presales available for $16. Hey Cuse! The Steakouts will be coming to your area twice next month: May 4th in Baldwinsville at St. Augustine's Coffeehouse w/4point0 and then May 13th in Syracuse at Badlands w/4point0 and Lightning Killed My Parents. We are really excited to be heading back after not playing around you since the Raz Sum reunion show (which was really freakin' awesome and we appreciate those guys for inviting us).

Other Steakouts news: The Steakouts will be playing Rochester's Lilac Festival May 15th at 4pm, are in process of booking our next tour, and are finishing up our second EP in as many years "Gather Round For Some Culture". Attached is a link to where you can hear samples of each song off the upcoming disc, likely to be released in June/July. This looks to be a busy summer for the band and we want to just keep building on what we have and keep having fun making music together.
