Syracuse Ska Forum

This movie was supposed to have been released in 2008, but now everywhere I look, they say 2009. Given that it stars an actual all-girl Japanese ska band and Lucas Grabeel from High School Musical, I have a funny feeling they're waiting to see what happens with the movie Bandslam first. Which sucks, because this movie will probably be much better than that one.

But yes, there will be cheesy promo for this movie as well (see below). But at least its for an honest ska band that actually has talent!

What exactly do you base that statement on?

For one -- real band vs. fake band.

For another, I've read several insider reports that Vanessa Hudgens sucked in this as the singer, but they see her as the star and forced the rest of the cast to work around her anyway. And that she had major attitude issues. At least the Japanese girls are just being themselves onscreen.

That doesn't necessarily make it a better movie.





Now, an Aggrolites movie? I'll be there.

idk i think this entire premise is great oreskaband was sick as hell lol they knew like a hand full of english and still were the most crazy and absolutely redic personalities on stage lol i thought it was great i will def look out for this movie! and aggrolites movie if your not there your a loser lol that woud be godly
