This is going to be sick. Rhythmden Part 1 has probably 20 of the hugest bands in hardcore (names like Shai Hulud, Converge, BoySetsFire, From A Second Story Window, The Number 12 Looks Like You, Municipal Waste, The Red Chord), and they announced it in little sections...I am so stoked to see who else is added to this show. Expect HUGE names.

are you really going to get hung up on that? it's streetlight, murphy's law, big d, and bigwig. you can't go wrong. it's two of the best ska-punk bands in the scene, an amazing punk band, and NYHC legends...

I actually think I'm going to pass on this, because the bands on it that I like I have all seen before, and it's a crazy far drive. That and I think that Sunday I'll be going to St. Catharines, ON to see The Planet Smashers and the Flatliners.

Unless I can find a couple kids to go with me (i.e. help pitch in for gas/tolls) then there's no way I can pay to get there on top of ticket price.

i'm pretty upset that Bigwig isn't on there at this point. They were originally but they're playing elsewhere that eve.

i mean, i'm still going to go. big d+streetlight will be cool to see again. it'll be like back before SM was everyone's favorite band. the chance is a weird venue though. i'm no tit's biggest fan. it's tiered kind of like tundra- except chance has three levels and an even SMALLER dance floor.

1. Poughkeepsie sucks.
2. I've seen all the bands (that I want to).
3. It's a six hour drive from Rochester.

2. So have I, but that's never stopped me before. If RBF were playing, you'd be there. SM is playing, I'll be there.
3. It's about a 4 hour drive from Ithaca, and then a two hour drive to my house in Queens.
