Okay, so obviously the guy is Walt Jabsco. But what's the girl's name again? Does she even have one?

I think we had a discussion about this once before, but I don't really remember..

My searches on Google and Wikipedia probably didn't have good enough search terms because I couldn't find anything. I'm hopefully going to be getting a dog soon, and am considering naming him/her after one of these characters..

i realize its based on tosh photo but where does the walt name come from?

Dammers loosely based the design of Jabsco on a picture of Peter Tosh from the cover of 'The Wailing Wailers' album, he liked the look that Tosh cut, describing it as 'Defiant & Jamaican & Hard'. Walt Jabsco got his name from an old American bowling shirt that Dammers owned.

I've also seen explanations that "Walt" was from Walt Disney.

That site is an interesting read.

I just scored an original pressing of The Selecter Too Much Pressure from the 2 Tone label today. It's sick, has Walt on the record label and everything. The only thing is that its skipping like crazy, so I'm going to have to take it back.
