Meh, I don't qualify for the criteria, but if you ever need a flute player, you can holla at me
You should attend the Falcon Ridge Folk Fest this summer, excellent time, excellent music, and you may find your niche/inspiration. Many different fusions of folk at this fest

I want to see this sometime. No offense Caitlin, but I have a hard time picturing you playing the flute. 8)

And to remind again, Dominant 7 out of Ithaca was a ska band with a flute player and it seemed to work for them. Hillary played on all their songs and did backing vocals as well, so I'm just saying it could be done again. Definitely gave them a distinctive sound.

F'N JETHRO TULL! j/k

let's not forget that some of the skatalites work has flute on it...and its stellar. now I know this is moot because they aren't folk but...whateva!

Evens mixed with Lemuria?
Where is the folk influence?

That sounds like some straight up awesomeness (a more melodramatic Lemuria would be sweeeeeet) but not folk.

It's a good thing that people have no freedom as to what music they listen to without being picked apart. <3

It's why Al Gore invented the internet.

Why do you think no one bashes George Clinton?
