The Burtones call it quits

Hello,

I'm not quite sure how many of you are aware, but the Burtones will no longer be a band after may 31st. We will be playing a couple last shows, and our final show will be at the Dubland Underground with Mrs. Skannotto and friends.

Our singer moved to Colorado, Zane is in Pittsburgh, and with most of us in college we decided that now would be the best time to break up. We have accomplished a lot as a band, and we have made a lot of great friends along the way. It would be very hard for us to keep the band up to it's full potential with everybody spread out so far, and with the members all pursuing their other endeavors.

Syracuse has always been great to us. So thank you too anybody who ever showed any remote interest in our band.
If you can, please try to make it out to our last couple of shows,

Where/when are you last few shows? I'm not moving to Syracuse until mid-May, but maybe I'll be able to make it out to one..

we're playing our 2nd to last in Syracuse, and our last show in Rochester (May 31)

Seconded. Watching your band evolve since that matinee at the Krown has been a true pleasure. I'm gonna miss your crew even more than Jay's, and I'm heartbroken over their breakup. :cry:

I have been making fun of the Burtones since they started as a band. I'm gunna miss those f*ck.

I may or may not be at this show. If the Hoboz play this show I will DEFINITELY be there
