Ah man. Same day as my Distorted Penguins show in Syracuse. Which means I miss Skapara yet again. :cry:

Are they doing any other American dates I might catch? This NYC show isn't on their website yet.

i'm definately down to travel down to this. i caught barrington levy last december in vermont and it was an amazing show. and i've always wanted to see tokyo ska paradise orchestra. those japanese have some crazy ska. but what i wanna know is if the TSPO are going to be barrington levy's backing band. that would be insane.

this was a fun day in the park. of course it started to POUR about 5 minutes before TYSPO came on. they opened their set with a pretty rocking version of 'Raindrops are falling on my head...' whatever the name of that song is. so that was pretty cool on their part. i think it finally stopped raining towards the end of their set. good thing they had that astro-turf carpeting stuff on the ground or else things coulda gotten quite messy. i caught the first 20 min of Barrington Levy before I had to catch my train home. it was a lot of fun. if TYSPO ever need an upstate NY date, we should invite em to the 'cuse, haha.
