I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came out to the Coffee Pavilion show Saturday night. We always have a good time in Syracuse and the other night was no exception. I appreciate everyone bearing with us while we dealt with the whole weird saxophone issue... there is a reason why most bands don't involve complicated instruments like a bari sax.

Thanks to the following people in particular for being awesome:
Danny for letting us play the show last minute and being one of the best and most generous promoters around.
Brandy for showing us the beauty of Wegman's, letting us stay at her place and turning us into winos for the rest of the tour.
Mike from Razbari Sumthing and Danielle (I thiiiink that's her name) for driving us all over Syracuse to try to find bari sax reeds Sunday morning.
And the sax player from the Glow for loaning us his mouthpiece for the set.

No thanks to:
The guy who broke into Chris' truck and stole a bag of Bob's clothes. Lame.

Oh yeah. Our CD release show in Albany is Saturday night at Valetine's, if anyone feels like making the drive.

I have bari sax reed at my house...

Saxes aren't that complicated, you just need to remember to bring your mouthpiece and new reeds in case they split.

I personally think that more bands need sax players.
And by more bands, I mean EVERY band.

Hehe, no, I'm not biased.

Honestly, I tend to prefer more sax and less brass than we tend to get on our shows. And more keyboards, please!!!!!

Oh, how I'd really, REALLY like to book a ska band with no horns, but their sound completely wrapped around keyboards a la The Selecter or The Hotknives. Yes, that'd make me so very, very happy ...

I've often played the radio edit version of "Pam Grier" by them on my radio show. I don't think even my seasoned ears are ready for the unedited version.
