Actually, if we're gonna do an outside show, how about the Thorden Park ampitheater???? I've been dying to try that sometime ...

You want me to make some calls if you're too busy to do it? I've never thought of it before. That'd be awesome.

We have a pavilion at Lewis Park down the street from my house, (where the Minoa Field Days are the RazSum played at in June.) I realize that it's in Minoa, and that people would be like 'Minoa- where's that?' but they have lights, electricity, and it's owned by the town. We wouldn't be able to charge becaus its' all really open, but it might be fun. They used to have bands play there on Friday nights, and then they showed movies on a big screen they rolled down on Saturday nights for free. I used to get down there, (I was like 12 at the time) whenever I could. The Syracuse Symphony String Quartet played a few times, and they rocked.

Perhaps I should call and ask about that? It'd be better to have more low key type stuff there though, or do show there earlier in the day, because it's in the middle of a residential area and I'm not sure if people would appreciate the lever of noise..

Hmm. Okay, so maybe it won't work, but I suppose it's all worth a shot..

Check on using parks, absolutely. Find out what they require AND what kinds of bands they're open to using ...
