In the delayed news department, CONGRATULATIONS to 4 Point 0 for winning a Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY) for Best Alternative or New Rock album for 2010.

This makes the 4th SAMMY award by local ska bands, allowing 4 Point 0 to join the ranks of previous winners The Action!, Razbari Sumthing and Straighter Than Pete -- good job guys!!!!!

And if you are keeping track of such things, this is the same exact award won by The Action! and RazSum. Both those bands also won the People's Choice Award and STP won the Brian Bourke Award for Best New Artist.

Definitely a nice feather in our collective scene cap. :thumbup:
