This is a special tribute episode for one of my all time favorite singers Alto Ellis. Sadly he passed away this week of lymphatic cancer which he had been fighting for some time.

Right to the end he was still performing and moving people with his powerful soulful voice.

His musical legacy is vast and varied and we I have pocked out a dozen of my personal favorites. These tunes can make the mood right at anytime in any place.

Is it bad that I really like Sean Paul's cover of "I'm Still In Love With You"?

not at all- i think my biggest guilty pleasure is listening to sean paul- i can't get enough of it- also he brought straight up rocksteady to a mainstream audience with that song- i don't think he changed the riddim at all- i remember being blown away when i first heard that song on pop radio working my tedious lab job- it was a diamond in the rough- great song
