Hello everyone,
August will be a busy month for the trio, here's this week for starters. Tonight obviously is our regular spot at the Coffee Pavilion from 9-11pm featuring veteran bassist Mike Scheofter subbing in for yours truly. Tomorrow (July 31st) will kick off our five week residency at Funk 'N Waffles with Sophistophunk as our opening act at 9:30pm, with us at 11pm respectively. And if for whatever reason you miss those two shows you can still catch us Sunday night at Awful Al's from 9pm-1am. Hope to ee some of you this week.

BTW, I finally got to see a little of Sophistophunk the other day. Its awesome to see Adam Gold playing keyboards wearing dark sunglasses.

I know his sister, Sydney. Dude absolutely rules at bass.

Once again it with great pleasure that I announce this week's upcoming gigs with 3. As always we will be at the Coffee Pavilion on Wednesday from 9pm to 11pm. Thursday 8/7 we will be playing at Funk 'N Waffles from 9-whenever they need us to stop. And Last but not least will be or premire at the Metro Lounge on Westcott Street on friday from 10-12. Hope to see you there.

P.S. Thank you to all that came out to see us at Al's on Sunday, that was a very special night for us and we were very happy with the turnout and the energy provided by the crowd. Hopefully we will enjoy more gigs like that in the future, thanks for supporting us.

You guessed it, another update on this week's whereabouts of 3, Syracuse's own jazz/funk/rock/break-beat trio. Here's the news in a nutshell.

Wednesday 12th: Coffee Pavilion 9pm-11pm
Thursday 13th: Funk 'N Waffles 10pm-12am
Friday 14th: Half Penny Pub TBD

Also keep your calenders open for Sunday August 24th. The trio will return to Al's Wine and Whiskey Lounge for another all night shred fest...ugh I mean a night of pleasant music. Anyway it should be good so come on down!

Oh ... THATS who we're talking about. I accidentally saw some of their set at Saint Clare Theater when I was checking the place out. What I caught sounded very solid and after the show they seemed like really nice people.

I regret to say that due to financial cutbacks at Coffee Pavilion the trio will not be playing there for a while. Much thanks to Bill Harper for providing the space for us for as long as he did. This news came to me very suddenly and I didn't get around to posting it in time. I apologize to anyone that showed up tonight for any inconvenience.

On a more positive note we are playing tomorrow, Thursday the 14th at 10pm, at Funk N Waffles with Andre opening for us. We will be multi-track recording the show so if you come your applause, or jeers, will appear on the recording. Also Kinnyatta and I will be playing at Half Penny Pub on Friday at 10pm with SAMMY hall-of-famer Mark Hoffman, an incredible blues guitarist and vocalist. Thanks again for all your support and if you get a chance, stop by the Pavilion and buy a coffee. Your contribution goes a long way for small businesses.

Hello all,

This weekend will provide a couple of opportunities to see 3 in action. Saturday Sept 20 we will be play at Bull & Bear Pub in Hanover Square filling in for Acoustic Army. The show will begin around 10pm. Sunday the 21 is the annual Westcott Street Fair. 3 will performing on the Taps Stage from 5:45-6:30pm and will be closing out the show.
