haha, i read it less as a "teach me to skank" thread and more as "how is it that you, the reader, skanks?" thread...

and i was going to respond with "badly."

Back in tha day, arms flairing, legs bouncing up and down. Simply a crazy man on a mission.

Now a days, with an oxygen tank. Skanking is alot of work, but fun!!!

i dont skank so much as I do "the ska" if thats possible, AKA, it depends on the song and how much space I have

I try to get my hair flying when I skank, and not run into people. But that always happens.

i skank a lot, and do cool stuf like a tyrannosaurus rex type thing, hard to explain.....

I remember finally meeting this grrl at Ska Summit in Vegas who I'd talked to quite a bit online. She warned me that kids made fun of her skanking style and after seeing it, I could see why. It started off as a Twist, morphed into the skanking that most of you know and ended with a crazy move where she wiggled her butt. I really know of no other way to describe it. You had to see it to really appreciate the complexity of it. I remember kids at Summit were astounded by it. She'd rotate between the 3 moves.

I gave her scene points for originality.

Of course, it helped that she's a hottie. Hotties can dance however they want ...
